After the 2024 elections, Colorado bucked the national trend and was described as a “blue island in a red wave.”
In 2024, nearly half of Colorado’s counties moved towards Democrats, Kamala Harris defeated Donald Trump, we kept our majorities in the State House and State Senate, and we competed in local contests across the state by investing in rural counties, transforming ourselves into a year-round organizing operation, and rebuilding our financial strength.
Despite this success, it’s more important than ever to be honest about the challenges ahead, and to tackle them together.
